“Internet”  “Business”   “Profit”.  To bring these words together into a successful combination for your money making online business you will need another word. “Traffic”.  Every article you read about making your website or company successful always includes a discussion on the critical importance of traffic. 

It is pretty obvious that without traffic you don’t have a business.  Aside from ensuring that you have a great product to sell, and you have your company`s organization is solid, it’s time  to get down to the nitty-gritty.  And that is generating traffic. 

If you already have a money making online website but you’re not getting the traffic that you feel you should be getting, then its time to go back to the drawing board. If you are struggling in this competitive internet marketing business, you need be a step ahead of your competition  Increasing your traffic flow should have been done starting yesterday.

Everyone knows that timing is essential. But with generating traffic, you should always be on your toes and be a day ahead of everyone. Never think of today and tomorrow as a starting point for attracting traffic to your website, it should have been done yesterday.

Also, using pay per click you are only spending money when someone actually goes to your website.  

You just need to make sure your ads are well targeted to attract only visitors truly interested in your product.

This search engine advertising method has reaped rewards for many companies. Lots of sites have used this advertising system successfully and reaped the benefits. Do not be left behind. Try Google and Yahoo`s advertising and see if your conversions pay for the advertising and add enough income to make this worthwhile.

2) Exchange or trade Links with other websites.  Exchanging links with other sites provides increases traffic for both websites involved in the  exchange. These links are also picked up by the search engines which will benefit both sites’ ranking on Google.

3) Search and use proper keywords or keyword phrases for your website’s content.  

Finding the right key words and key word phrases has been written about by everyone. However, it is extremely important to research key words and phrases on Google and other sources to attract the search engines to your website. The better and more thorough job you do in this research will improve your search engine ranking and directly benefit your traffic.

4) Write Articles that can lead traffic to your site.  

Submit articles to sites that discuss the same subject that your site deals in.  You can also write articles for the major “ezines”.  Attach your site’s description and link at the end of the article or in the Author’s Resource Box.

5) Join forums and form online communities.  

Join forums and online communities related to the product you are selling or business you are promoting. Entering into discussions related to your field of interest will build your reputation in your field and ultimately traffic to your website.

6) Offer newsletters. 

Develop a periodic newsletter for your followers. The more people who know who you are and what you are about, will build traffic to your website. In addition when you become well known, your followers will pass the word creating additional traffic.

Find an Online Money Making Product in 5 Minutes

I would think that everyone who is trying to set up his or her online money making business knows how to find a profitable product quickly and easily.  However, I read something the other day, which made me wonder whether some people who are just getting involved in an online money making business might find some help useful.

What should you consider to be a profitable product?

You all know that to start you online money making business you need to set up a landing page.  But for it to work you need a profitable product.  Many people think that you define a profitable product by the size of the commission.  Obviously, a large commission is nice, but it is not the most important aspect of the product. Far more important is the conversion rate of the product.

There are many products that convert well, but probably the quickest and easiest to find are affiliate products.  And the quickest and easiest place to find affiliate products is www.clickbank.com.  In the clickbank market place are listed ebooks, membership sites and video courses all for sale or set up for you to sell.  If you are representing the product owner, each time you sell his product, your commission is automatically deposited into your account.  Once you earn over $100, your earnings will be deposited into your own bank account twice a month.

Using Clickbank.

If you’re not registered for clickbank, you sign up at http://www.clickbank.com. The instructions are easy to follow, but be careful when you put in a nickname or ID.  Once you have entered one, you cannot change it. It is probably better to have a nickname related to you own name. If you have one related to your niche, you may not be happy with it if you want to market in another niche, but you’d be stuck with it.

Search the marketplace.

Open the marketplace and search using your key word niche.  This will bring up a list of products in that niche.

Look through the list for the products that have the highest popularity and gravity and pick out three of four.  If you see a number of products in your niche this is good because it means that there is a demand for your niche.

Sort your list of products by popularity and gravity.

Obviously, the most popular are getting the most sales.  Gravity is a calculation made by Clickbank which indicates which products are getting more sales by affiliates.  In other words a high gravity means that a relatively high number of affiliates are having success selling that product. High gravity also means that a product has good momentum and converts well for affiliate traffic.

Ideally you want a product with both a high gravity and high popularity, but you want to make sure the gravity is at least 30.  When it gets close to 100, it should be as close to a guarantee that it will sell well as you can get.

Note the % referred number.

The % referred number is the percentage of product sales which come from affiliates instead of direct sales.  A high referred percentage usually means that you’ll have a better chance of making money with the product.

When you go through this exercise and end up with several products you want to promote, you then select one or two to start with in you campaign keeping the others in reserve for later.  The important next step is to track the success of each of your products.  You may want to alternate products and see which ones work the best.  Also, you don’t want to fall in love with a product and hang on to it when it is no longer converting for you.  It’s easy to do, but if you’re going to be successful in your online money making business, you need to actively test your products and only promote those that are really successful for you.

4 Tips For Starting A Successful Online Money Making Business

Running an Online Money Making business is not a difficult task; but running a successful one is more difficult.  There are thousands of people that have started up their own online business, but many of them are not making any money doing itl.  If you want to be successful starting up your internet business, there are a couple of tips you should follow.

1. Before you start up an online money making business, you are going to need the necessary knowledge.  In other words, if you are looking to start an online business, choose an industry or niche that you are familiar with.  By doing this you will ensure yourself of knowing where to start, and how to handle problems as they arise.  Of course, it is possible to run a successful internet business even if you do not have past experience.  You will just want to make sure that you do your homework and learn as much as you can about your adopted business before starting.  This way you will have some background information on the industry instead of simply going into the venture blind.

2. Make sure that you are organized from the very start.  The most successful online money making businesses are ones that have quality business and marketing plans in place from the start. Having these will allow you to follow your plans day by day so by so that you do not get lost.  It is hard to be successful in anything if you do not know where you are trying to go.  A business plan will give you an idea on how you want your company to progress.  Your marketing plan will direct you on how to grow your company.  These are two things that are synonymous with every successful online money making business.

3. Never feel hesitant to ask for help if you are having a rough time.  A lot of business owners do not like to ask other people for help because they do not want to appear inexperienced or lacking in knowledge about their business.  This is something that you should come to grips with before you even get started.  It is impossible to know everything about your industry, so there are times when you will have to ask questions.  Instead of thinking of this as a bad thing, why not look at it as a way of making new business contacts?  If you are having a technical problem that you cannot figure out, you should get in touch with an IT company right away.  If it’s a business problem, find someone with a similar business and ask him/her to look at what you are doing and give you ideas on what you could do better. There is nothing wrong with doing this.  In fact, if you do not ask questions of other people, you will only be holding your company back.

In order to make money online you want to optimize your web site.  What does this mean and how do you accomplish that?

First of all you need to appreciate that there is no one optimum web site.  What makes an optimum web site depends on your point of view.  A web site a designer may feel is optimum a user may feel is awkward and difficult to navigate.  Even two designers may not agree because of personal likes and dislikes of designs and functionality.

So let’s accept the fact that there is no one optimum web site to make money online, and look at the approach you need to take and the elements you need to include or not include when designing or having your web site designed in order for it to approach optimum.

1. Don’t be afraid of white backgrounds.  The most effective web designs use white backgrounds and very clean lines so as not to distract the reader from the sales message of your site.

2. Do not overdo pictures and images.  Use them sparingly.  Pictures and images can spice up a site, but when overdone they slow down the load of your site to the reader’s computer and are annoying.  After you have your site designed, check out the loading time, to make sure it loads reasonably rapidly.  If not, cut out a picture or two and recheck it, until you are satisfied that it is not too slow.  By the way, if possible do this check on a small less powerful computer.  Not everyone has a computer like yours.

3. Make navigation of your site simple and straight forward so your reader will find the content he is looking for easily. You must remember that all users are not computer savvy, so the easier your site is to navigate the better.

4. This really relates to navigation, but make sure your site is built on rudimentary rules of web design like having clear buttons, describing links accurately and displaying links in the conventional blue.  This will make sure that users have the least amount of trouble accessing different pages of your site.

An optimum web site brings together a classy look with easy navigation.  When a user open up your site, their first impression should be “Wow!  What a great site. And then when they start to work their way around your site, they should find it easy to navigate to find what they are looking for.

These elements are the technical aspects of your web site.  When you have these covered, you must make sure that your content of your site is of top notch quality.  It has to be well written and without grammatical or spelling errors.  It is a question of balance.  You want to spell out your complete sales pitch, but you want to be concise and not overdo it.  So keep in mind that for you to be successful and make money online you need balance.  It’s the secret of life.

Smart Making Money Online Ideas – Getting Your Subject Line Right In Your Emails!

You finally have built up an opt-in list for your making money online business. You built it promising a periodic newsletter, and maybe a free ebook or free software.  So now you need to start writing your newsletter.  Your first problem is to write the “subject”.

Your problem is to have a “subject” that will get your opt-in reader to open up your newsletter and read it.  This isn’t always as easy as it would seem.  These people have opted-in for diverse reasons.  Many of them may have opted-in to get your free ebook or software, but not your free newsletter.  So it may not be easy to get your new opt-in reader to open your emailed newsletter.  And unless you have a “subject” that really catches his or her eye and pushes them to open it up, they won’t, and you lose any possibility of a sale.

It is obvious that you need to work really hard on your “subject”.  It is the key to building a successful making money online business.

The question is how to write an engaging “subject”.  First of all your subject should be short and concise.  It should give a summary or at least a hint of the content of your newsletter.  What it must do is instantly grab the attention of  your readers, get them intrigued enough to open your email.

A good subject must always be tickling the curiosity of your recipient.  It must literally force the recipient to open the mail.  A certain emotion must be ignited for them to open the mail.  Particularly when you consider that your recipients probably receive hundreds of emails each day.  Most of them get trashed without being opened.  So you’ve got to cut through all that, and grab your reader’s attention with your subject line.

There are many forms you can use for your subject.  you can provide a subject that says your email contains content that teaches them tips and methods on certain topics.  An example of this is using keywords and keyword phrases such, “How to”, “Tips on”, “Guides to” and similar.

You can also put your subject in a question form.  These may include questions like, “Are You Sick and Tired of Your Job?”, “Is Your Boss Always on Your Case?”

You need to stay on the topic that pertains to your site.  You must assume that your subscribers signed up because they are interested in your sites topic, not only for your freebie enticement.  The question form for a topic can be very effective it reaches out to your recipients’ emotions.  When they read the question in your subject line, their mind starts answering the question and there is a good chance they will open want to read your email.

You can also use a subject that commands our reader.  Statements such as, “Act Now and Get This Once in a Lifetime Opportunity”, or “Double, Triple and Even Quadruple What You Are Earning in One Year” deal with the benefits you are providing with your products and services and can be effective.

You can also use a line that sounds like breaking news.  You can, “Announce” a new product that sounds novel in some way.  Try to create curiosity for your readers which cause them to open your mail.

To repeat, work hard on the subject line.  Make sure that your email is one of those that get opened and read.  In this way you will insure the success of your money making online business.
